Very friendly and helpful service. We had an issue with one of our bikes and the team at Blackwell mill kindly fixed the bike and sorted us with hot chocolate and yummy cakes. Amazing service. Would highly recommend if using the Monsal trail.

We had a wonderful day cycling the Monsal Trail. This is an extremely pretty cycle path, with lots of tunnels and bridges. The team at Blackwell Cycle Hire were great - very friendly and knowledgeable. Thoroughly recommend!
Great experience, very friendly and helpful staff. Adjusted the seat before we left and gave us a map, although we didn't really need one. The trail is straightforward the entire way to Bakewell. A lock is included for peace of mind for stopping to have a coffee or picnic. Definitely the best place to start, as you can get to Bakewell in plenty of time for lunch. Parking is easy – a nice 10-min walk along the stream. The weather was great as well – 😎 a lovely blue sky all day.

We had an amazing time on the bikes cycling the Monsal trail! All of the staff at the cycle hire are so friendly and helpful - shout out to Cheryl who was fabulous :) we were given a map and recommendations of where to stop along the trail which came in handy. Would definitely hire bikes from here again!
