We rented bikes for the day to cycle the length of the Monsal Trail (and back again). This was really worth doing and an enjoyable experience, the viaducts, tunnels and scenery of the Trail are spectacular. The bikes themselves ran smoothly and the staff at the Hire were friendly and helpful.

We rung ahead to book bikes and they were all ready waiting for us to go straightaway saving time. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The bikes are comfortable to ride and in excellent condition. We’ll be back to hire again in the future. The trail itself is a really nice cycle ending up in Bakewell where we locked the bikes and headed in to town for fish and chips.

The gentleman running the shop was really caring for his customers and very passionate about his work too. The shop is in a prime location for the monsal trail also!! Thanks for also letting me use your pump and tyre levers, much appreciated.

We hired bikes from here on Bank Holiday Monday, all the guys were really helpful gave us all the information we needed. Unfortunately on the way back our 3 year old got soaked, the owner let us bring the car down, gave him a hot drink and a blanket to warm him up. We were very grateful and would 100% recommend going here to hire bikes ???? We will definitely be returning! The fact he went out his way to go above and beyond was amazing!

We decided to cycle the Monsal trail so we could easily see all the distance - so this cycle hire was a great find! It was an easy process from start to finish, the bikes were in superb condition and the owner offered us a lot of advice on the best places to stop for food and to see the view! Definitely recommend hiring bikes from here!

Without pre-booking, we recently hired bikes for the day to cycle the length of the Monsal trail and can only echo other recent positive comments. Friendly staff took time to ensure we were each provided with the right size bike and helpful advice & guidance, including a map, was provided on the best stopping points & facilities en route. Helmets, locks & tyre pumps are all included in the reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Brilliant service, found this place with my partner and my dog earlier and so happy we did. Staff set up the bikes for us and explained the route and all attractions along the way.
