Hired 3 adult bikes for a day out on the Monsal trail - no fuss service, laid back approach - good value. Bit of a walk from the carpark to the hire shop (probably about 15 minutes) - but it's a good 'warm up' for the riding. Got to love Dave the dog!

Friendly service, bikes are of a good standard & staff making clear & obvious efforts to adhere to Covid-19 restrictions/rules. “Tuck Shop” on site offering snacks & drinks. Easy to find - A short & scenic 10 minute walk from Wydale car park (£4.75 for a full day pay & display & worth noting that payment for parking is by card only.) The trail is flat so suitable for all ages & there are toilets/facilities along the route. Highly recommend this place for bike hire and/or a pit stop if out walking/cycling on the Monsal Trail.

After not being able to get what we needed at Hassop Bike Hire this place came up trumps, called them up on our way and they had all 3 bikes and dog trailer ready by the time we arrived. Excellent service and many thanks to you. The Monsal Trail is a must when you are in this area.

Nice day spent riding the trail from Buxton to Bakewell. Staff at the cycle hire were very helpful and knowledgeable.

This is our favourite day out as a family! Bikes are brilliant and reasonably priced, staff are lovely, tail is beautiful and by starting at blackwell mill cycle hire you don't miss a thing as its right at the start. We also get to see dave the dog!

Blackwell bike hire was well located at the start of the Monsal Trail. The service was quick and friendly with good quality bikes at a fair price. My wife and I done the 18 mile round trip at a leisurely pace. 1st time on a bike for me in over 40 years but found the trail easy going with amazing scenery. Will be back in April 2020 with my daughter and wife.Would highly recommend it.

Beautiful location and nice easy bike ride on good surface with decent bikes. highly recommended for almost all ages and abilities. (kids from 6 to 65 who can ride a bike reasonably well should be fine here)
