What an excellent way to spend the day! We were a large group of 25 enjoying a work trip in Buxton. Cheryl and Simon were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the booking and hire – accommodating so many of us easily and ensuring we had a brilliant time. The bikes were great – in excellent condition and set up for each rider in advance. They made sure we were all happy with our set-up and gave us tips for places to stop along the trail.
We parked at Wye Dale Car Park (£4.75 for all day, less for shorter stays) and enjoyed a beautiful stroll next to the river to the hire hut – an unexpected bonus of beauty and tranquillity. The scenery along the trail is spectacular, and there are plenty of opportunities to stop for drinks/food/toilets on the way to and from Bakewell. I would definitely recommend hiring bikes from Blackmill Cycle Hire and enjoying a day in a wonderful part of the world! Thanks Cheryl, Simon and doggo Dave!
