From the car park to the end of the trail is beautiful scenery, The staff in the Cycle hire shop are very helpful and friendly and you can reserve your equipment by phone. The whole area just seems to bring out the best in people, I’ve never seen so many smiling faces or had so many greetings and words of encouragement.

The ride itself is great for non-energetic novice riders, I’ve only ridden twice in 30 years and enjoyed the trail and felt fully able to complete it. For anyone considering whether they could manage the trail I would re-assure you that if I can do it then anyone can as I am a very un-sporty person.

Looking forward to returning again soon as it was just brilliant.
