Well we had a most enjoyable walk today, and the group really appreciated being able to end the day by sitting in comfort over tea and cakes! A very rare treat on our walks!

You must have had some heavy rain over the last couple of nights, as the track through the dale was far muddier than on Sunday. One of the group took a white dog with him – and came back with a black one! We eventually shoved the dog into the river just before the car park, to get rid of some of the mud! Not that the dog complained about yet another chance to swim!

Sorry we didn’t see you this afternoon, but we’ll be back!
