I had nothing to aim for but an innocuous dot on a map. We managed to ramble from Buxton to Blackwell cycle hut after crossing a few train lines and up and down a few nice and steep hills. The walk to Bakewell wasn’t going so well.

Luckily the owners had a couple of sweet rides for us and a generous helping of tips of places to stop off on our route to the village of puddings.

The weather was glorious and the route quite spectacular. If say it is a must see on a sunny day. It’s not too far or difficult to ride and there’s so many breathtaking views to try and catch your breath to.

We were done with the walking by 5pm when we got back and the lovely owners called us a cab back to Buxton. Fantastic day out.
