Car parking at this end of the trail is limited so advise getting there early. Very pleasant 10min walk down past river to Blackwell cycle hire. Hadn’t booked but no problem as bikes were available. Very friendly & helpful staff & good value for money if you intend to do the whole trail to Bakewell as you will need majority of the day (other places are by hour). Would use again and happily recommend to others. We ended up driving from Buxton to Blackwell car park, did look into buses but services appeared limited.
