Great friendly and easy going service, including Dave, who was very helpful! We rented electric bikes – first time either of us had ridden them – and found them great value. We both have standard road bikes at home but don’t use them nearly enough due to undulating lanes. The electric option has whetted our appetites and we’re seriously considering them as more suitable to our requirements.

Certainly reduces potential damage to ageing joints and allows more time to look at the scenery rather than bent double and staring at your knees! Sniffy about electric bikes? Don’t be! They don’t take over. They simply assist whilst leaving you still with some work to do. And anything that encourages demotivated cyclists like us to get out of the car has to be a good thing.

Can’t imagine a better place to go for a trial run. More power to your pedals, Blackwell Mill!
