We had a brilliant day cycling along the Monsal Trail. The staff at the hire centre were extremely helpful and provided lots of useful information. We went with 2 kids aged 2 and 4 and booked a trailer and tag along. Apart from the short uphill at the start (which the member of staff kindly helped us up) the track is nice and flat with beautiful views along the way with places to stop to picnic, buy ice creams and a play area for the kids near Bakewell. A really fantastic day out!
