Great service, really friendly helpful chap at the desk who explained where everything was on the trail. Renting the bike was a really easy experience and took about 5 minutes. We hired bikes for the day to cycle the Monsal Trail, it was great fun. The staff at Blackwell Mill Cycle Hire were brilliant and very friendly, they gave us lots of information about the trail and the best places to stop. The bikes were great and well maintained. A brilliant fun day out.
Hired bikes for 6 adults on Sunday 30th June over the phone. Really good value for money, set prices for all day hire. Good selection of bikes including electric. Blackwell Mill is about a 10 minute walk from Wyedale car park but then just a short walk up to the cycle trail. Plenty of places to stop on the trail for drinks/toilet.
The people at the cycle hire place are great, really helpful,and the bikes are really good. The monsal trail is a great day out and the cycling is pretty easy, even for people who don't cycle a lot.
