My husband, myself and boxer dog Candy have just returned home from a break where we spent a day cycling the Monsal trail. As I have severe arthritis and awaiting hip replacements we hired 2 electric bikes from here in the hope that I would be able to manage this.
The care and service received from the lovely couple who own this cycle hire company was outstanding and certainly warmed my heart. I hadn’t ridden a bike in many years and didn’t really understand what an electric bike was but was so impressed by it that I’m now researching buying one for myself. It allows you some exercise as you still need to pedal it, but it is completely effortless pedalling as the bike does the hard 0work.
Looking at it you wouldn’t know it is electric as the battery pack sits in one of the saddle bags. Amazing experience, amazing bikes and amazing couple. Thank you so so much for the lift back to our campsite when we had finished. You will go to heaven! X
