We booked two electric bikes a week before, really helpful on the phone and gave great directions on how to get there. The car park is £4.50 all day which I though was really reasonable , its about 15 minute walk to the Blackwell cycle ,lovey walk along the river.
With the bike hire included a cycle helmet and a bike lock , so able to lock your bike up and do some exploring along the way.
I hadn’t rode a bike in 28 years, I was very apprehensive and the gentlemen could tell. Put my mind at ease , went through the bike with me , the gears, any problems call them , they can come out and help . Took the bike up the hill for me .
Well its true what they say you never forget how to ride a bike and I had an amazing day. The electric bike did make it easier but on my return I hadn’t really taken full advantage of the electric as told by the staff.
I didn’t do the whole trail but did do 15 miles , the views are amazing, the station stops are great for a drink , the loo . Stopped at Hassops for lunch. The lunch and service was amazing , great value for money . Then headed back , going through the tunnels was an experience, like i said the views along the way where amazing. The trail was busy but the bells on the bike where great and people generally got out the way.
It was a fantastic service , friendly , helpful staff, nothing was to much trouble and My daughter & I had a great day.
