I arrived at this venue having walked with my dog from Bakewell. The outside area is tidy and the inside is of a high standard. The surrounding views are also idyllic making it the perfect stop to rest at the end of the trail or to fuel up on their high standard and well priced food and drink before embarking on the 8.5 mile walk. As I am not from the area, I asked the owner Cheryl for directions to the bus stop. Cheryl went above and beyond to provide directions including supplying a map and then further assistance when she realised I’d miss the bus had I walked with my dog. The brief conversation that I had with Cheryl shown that she is a genuinely nice lady and if I / when I am walking along the the trail again, I will definitely attend here again and stop a little longer. I strongly recommend any visitors to the Monsal Trail include swinging by this business for a quick stop as part or their adventure.
